WPC and SPC Comparsion
WPC and SPC are waterproof and stability as LVT, and also easy installation as laminate flooring.
Increasing of cork and EVA pad make foot and sound insulation effect better.
WPC uses all environmental protection material, compared with the laminate flooring will be more environmentally friendly.
In short, WPC SPC have both advantages of LVT and Laminate.
1. WPC is Wood Plastic Composition=LVT Layer + WPC Core
A. LVT layer and WPC layer bonding by glue, adhesive strength is very good, even better than the color film and matte film LVT by hot pressing.
B. The stability of WPC is better than that of PVC:
WPC floor put in 80 degrees room for 6 hours, then take out in normal temperature with 50% humidity room to observe.
The shrinkage rate of the length was 0.11% (shrinkage test standard: 80 degrees, 6 hour standard);
The shrinkage rate of width was 0.07%
WPC floor advantage: WPC is light, the cost is low.
WPC floor disadvantage: Fragile
2. SPC Plastic Composite is based on high-tech development of new environmentally friendly floor, with zero formaldehyde, mildew proof, moisture-proof, fire prevention, pest control, simple installation and so on. SPC floor is respectively to heat, seal and emboss PVC wear-resistant layer, PVC color films and PVC substrate by three or four flatters. The technology is simply adhesive by hot without glue. PVC substrate is extruded by extrusion machine and T mold extrusion. SPC flooring uses environmental material, does not contain heavy metals, phthalate two formic ester, methanol and other harmful substances, in line with EN14372, EN649-2011, IEC62321, GB4085-83 standards. It is popular in developed countries and Asia Pacific markets. With excellent stability and durability, stone plastic flooring not only solves the problem of rotten and damp deformation which wood floor has, and solve the problem of formaldehyde which other decoration materials has. It has many colors and patterns, and it is suitable for interior decoration, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls and other public places.
SPC floor shrinkage rate: 0.1% (shrinkage test standard: 80 degrees, 6 hour standard);
SPC floor density: 1.9-2 kg per square meters.
SPC floor advantage: SPC is rigid, low shrinkage rate.
SPC floor disadvantage: SPC density is big, weight. The transport expense is high.
