What is the difference between the PVC floor and the flax floor
The PVC floor and the flax floor belong to the elastic floor, but there are some differences.
The composition and production process are different: the flax floor is made from the mixture of linseed oil, cork and wood powder, laminated to jute linings. The PVC floor is made of PVC and Its Copolymerization resins as main raw materials, with filler, plasticizer, stabilizer, coloring agent and other excipients on the flaky continuous substrate, and is produced by coating process or calendering, extrusion or extrusion process. From this point of view, linen is used as a pure natural linen material, while the PVC floor is made of PVC material, but it is also a green material.
There is a difference between wear resistance and stability: linen floor is generally resistant to marking, and flax floor is hard and soft. That's why the thick linen floor is not good at marking performance. In comparison, the PVC floor has better wear resistance. In addition, the dimensional stability of the flax floor is general, so it is necessary to use very strong glue. On the whole, the flax floor is less stable than the PVC floor.
There are differences in maintenance difficulty: floor need maintenance in natural light, and there will be differences in real samples, yellow, flax floor for the maintenance of the product (PH>7) resistance is poor, flax floor re polished, in need of special maintenance products must be used when waxing. Flax floor is much harder than PVC floor, but because of porous surface, all stains must be cleaned up quickly, otherwise the surface will leave indelible imprint and have to be polished and waxed. Because it is not a thermoplastic material, so it can not be recycled, burn marks can be easily worn, but for the deep hot streak, and PVC floor than the floor polish much easier.
There are differences in the difficulty of installation: it is difficult to install the flax floor, and the flax floor will break if the indoor temperature is too low. Because of its absorption nature and dimensional instability, the product must be quickly installed with strong glue. For example, one day, a group of 80 to install laying 100 square meters PVC floor, or it may only be 60 square meters of floor laying. Linseed oil is not sensitive to temperature, and can not be welded with the same material. Therefore, linseed is not welded but "seam", so linen floor can not be divided into E3 waterproof class. Linen floor is not suitable for damp rooms or areas with clean requirements. The flax floor will emit a strong smell and stay in the installed room.
